"Rustic elegance and
gracious hospitality - a kind of time capsule filled with antiques, curios and objects
d'art of every description and vintage all arranged in congenial anarchy." MAIN LODGE The Wolf River Lodge, a log retreat in Wisconsin's Northwoods, is beautifully situated atop a bluff overlooking the pristine Wolf River with a panoramic view of the river, fields and forest. Guests come to ski, to run whitewater, to fly-fish for trout or to relax in a sanctuary of peace and quiet. "There's Either Plenty to Do Or Nothing To Do" A rambling structure hewn of native hemlock, our old-fashioned main lodge is the center of activity with its low, timbered ceilings and high stone fireplace. Handmade quilts, braided rugs add warmth to 6 antique-filled guest rooms. Full breakfast, dining room (reservations only) and small pub. Written about and praised by state and national publications. Visited by many prominent persons including one state senator who became our 35th president. CLICK
